" DIOCESAN MUSEUM OF THE INTELVI VALLEY" - SCARIA INTELVI

Adjacent to the parish is the Diocesan Museum of the Intelvi Valley, opened in 1966, which collects important documents and finds from the Intelvi Valley.

The Museum is divided into several sections: sculpture, goldsmith's art, painting, books, fabrics, drawings, religious events, prints, furniture, archival documents, work tools; literature, photography and newspapers.
Among the most precious works there is the very ancient processional cross (known as the Antelamic Cross), dating back to the Romanesque period, as well as the splendid statuettes in olive wood, the work of the great sculptor from Ercole Ferrata from Pellesia.
The exhibits remain the property of the parishes of origin while the institution's task is the recovery of all these objects that could not otherwise have been preserved. Open only July and August
