The result of the passion of a great Italian entrepreneur, Antonio Ratti, who wanted to transform his personal collection of antique fabrics into a resource available to everyone, to protect this huge historical heritage and disseminate it thanks to research and study activities.

" MUSEUM OF THE 6TH LEGION OF THE FINANCE GUARD" - COMO (2)
In the Palazzo Terragni or Casa del Fascio, by the architect Giuseppe Terragni, seat of the Provincial Command, a museum has been set up dedicated to the 6th Legion of the Guardia di Finanza of Como which since 1945 engaged in the fight against smuggling in the provinces of Como, Varese , Lecco and Sondrio.

"CENTER OF EGYPTOLOGY FRANCESCO BALLERINI"
The Center of Egyptology Francesco Ballerini was born to spread the beauty and history of the ancient Egyptian world. Also taking care of an excavation project in the area of the million-year-old Temple of Pharaoh Amenhotep II in West Thebes, to then collect and disseminate the data of the finds found.

"ORNITHOLOGICAL OBSERVATORY IL NIBBIO" - AROSIO
The Antonio Bana European Foundation for Ornithological Research on Migration and Environmental Protection - IL NIBBIO (FEIN) - was founded in 1988 with the aim of studying and promoting all initiatives aimed at contributing to the conservation of fauna and environments natural.

"VOLTIANO TEMPLE" - COMO
The Voltiano Temple was commissioned by the Como industrialist F. Somaini to the architect Federico Frigerio and was erected in 1927, on the occasion of the first centenary of the death of Alessandro Volta. The building is in neoclassical style, with an obvious reference to the Pantheon.

"CASTLE OF MONGUZZO"
Among one of the oldest castles in Brianza, it is used as a fortress, prison and home before being donated to the Fatebenefratelli religious order. It is then used as a Hospital Study Center and today it hosts numerous scientific, health and religious conferences and conventions.

"CASTELLO BARADELLO" - COMO
The altitude of 430 meters above sea level, its location south of Como and the lake and the possibility of strategic connections with the surrounding territory, have determined the constant use of the Baradello hill, from the protohistoric to the historical era, with defensive functions, traffic light (signaling) and duty.

"CASTLE OF VEZIO" - PERLEDO
It is said that the Vezio Castle was the home of the Lombard Queen Teodolinda and was built by refugees from the island of Comacina who founded Varenna. The castle with its 20 meters high tower is now privately owned but has been recently restored and open to the public, to let everyone admire the beauty it has to offer.

"PALAZZO GALLIO" - GRAVEDONA
Founded at the behest of Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio by the magister Giacomo Curti of Gravedona, Palazzo Gallio will never be truly used as a dwelling but during the French and Spanish occupation it will be used as a hospital. Today it is included in the list of International Monuments and is home to the Valli del Lario and Ceresio Mountain Community. It also hosts the "Camellia Exhibition" in the week preceding Easter each year.

"VILLA LA COLLINA" - GRIANTE
Built on the ruins of a medieval tower, Villa Collina stands on a hill overlooking the lake with the Bellagio promontory opposite. Over the years it hosted important members of the European political landscape. It was finally purchased by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation which made it an international congress center, today it is also an exclusive hotel.

"VILLA MELZI D'ERIL" - BELLAGIO
The villa, commissioned in 1808 (and completed in 1810) by Count Francesco Melzi d'Eril (who fought alongside Napoleon in the first campaign of Italy and was appointed by him as Duke of Lodi and personal adviser) is currently the residence of the Gallarati family Scotti, and it is not open to the public.

"VILLA PASSALACQUA" - MOLTRASIO
Built at the end of the eighteenth century, it always hosted important personalities such as Napoleon. A fantastic garden, the spectacular swimming pool and the terrace full of lemon and olive trees make the villa even more majestic. In addition, Villa Passalacqua has grandiose basements that also make it mysterious.

The Lariana Cultural Association was born by the will of the actor Giuliano Capuano, after years of presence in the Como theater activity and beyond, the actor wanted to build this artistic reality to give the city a stable theater company and simultaneously revive the many actors professionals present in the Como area.
