"ORNITHOLOGICAL OBSERVATORY IL NIBBIO" - AROSIO

The Antonio Bana European Foundation for Ornithological Research on Migration and Environmental Protection - IL NIBBIO (FEIN) - was founded in 1988 with the aim of studying and promoting all initiatives aimed at contributing to the conservation of fauna and environments natural.

The capture system of the Arosio Ornithological Observatory dates back to ancient times; it was already present on the maps of 1710 and there is archival evidence in 1722 (maps of the Teresian Cadastre). The constant maintenance operations have favored the protection of the arboreal complex of considerable historical and architectural value.
