A miniature country: in Swissminiatur you can see a faithful representation of the most important buildings in Switzerland. Inside you will find more than 120 models representing the patrician houses, castles, cathedrals and other buildings in Switzerland. For fans of model railways we have more than 3500 m of rails with as many as 18 trains, funiculars, cogwheel trains, cableways and moving boats.
All the models on display are built in 1:25 scale

Melide
This area of ​​the city is located on the shores of Lake Lugano, surrounded by mountains such as Monte Generoso and San Salvatore, rich in vegetation. Melide is located on the north side of the bridge that crosses the lake. It has the advantage of having links with the highway, the main road, railway, ship, bus to and from Lugano and the school bus, allowing visitors to reach it easily.
