"MONUMENTO ALLA RESISTENZA" - COMO
Placed in public gardens, it was inaugurated on May 28, 1983 by the President of the Republic Pertini.
Work of the Milanese sculptor Gianni Colombo, it collects stones from the extermination camps and from Hiroshima. On large bronze plates are engraved passages of letters of those sentenced to death in the Second World War. Symbolic stairs lead to those "letters", in a path full of suggestion and yet without rhetoric.
