"VILLA USUELLI" - BLEVIO
Villa Usuelli was built for the famous romantic dancer Maria Taglioni.
Upon Taglioni's death, the property came to her daughter and then to the painter Michele Riccardi, who transformed the vast park into a botanical-zoological garden. Currently the villa is privately owned.
