" DON LUIGI GUANELLA MUSEUM" - COMO
The Don Luigi Guanella Museum is housed in the Divine Providence House in Como.
You can visit some rooms inhabited by the Blessed: on the ground floor the dining room of the first religious community, on the second floor the study, with few furniture, the desk, the sofa and a wardrobe where some personal items are kept and the room where died on October 24, 1915.
In the room a window with grate opens onto the altar of the Sanctuary, with a kneeler where the Blessed One stopped in long nocturnal adorations at the SS. Sacrament.
The body of the Blessed is preserved in the Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart, a church commissioned and founded by Don Guanella. The Library and the Historical Archive of the Congregation are available.
